"I wanted people to actually get outside — regularly, not just once a year."
What began as small weekend hikes through local trails grew into a regular group who kept coming back for more ground to cover.
Every hike is kept small on purpose, with routes and pace chosen for the group. We try to leave every trail exactly as we found it.
Meet your guide, Lena →This section is ready and waiting — drop in real reviews once you have a few.
"Add a quote about how a hike felt — the details are what people trust."
"Add a second review here. Short and specific works better than long and general."
"A third one rounds it out nicely. Ask happy guests for a line or two after their visit."
The questions people usually ask before their first hike.
No previous hiking experience needed. Routes are chosen for a comfortable pace, and the group only goes as fast as its slowest member.
Sturdy shoes, a layer for wind, and water are the essentials for a hike — a full packing list is sent after booking.
As the Norwegian saying goes: "there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing." Hikes may be rescheduled if conditions look unsafe — if so, you'll hear from us the evening before with a decision.
If you can comfortably walk for a couple of hours, you're ready. Each hike lists its distance and elevation ahead of time so you know what to expect.
Always. We pack out everything we bring in, stay on marked trails, and keep groups small so the impact stays light — these trails need to stay wild for whoever comes after us.
A few clear terms so there are no surprises for either of us. Ask if anything below isn't clear before you book.
Yes — a 20% deposit holds your spot once we've confirmed availability by email, with the rest due before the day of your hike. We'll send payment details (bank transfer or Vipps) in our reply to your booking request; the form on this site doesn't take payment directly.
Cancel 7 or more days before your hike and your deposit is fully refunded. Cancel 3–6 days before and we'll refund half. Inside 48 hours of the start time, or for a no-show, the deposit isn't refundable — by then we've usually turned other guests away to hold your spot.
If we cancel or postpone — most often for unsafe weather, see the FAQ above — you'll always get a full refund or a free move to a new date, whichever you'd rather have. That applies no matter how much notice we're able to give.
Usually, yes. Ask as early as you can and we'll do our best to move you to a different date or hike at no extra cost, space allowing.
Reply to your booking confirmation email, or write to us directly, as soon as you know. We'll confirm your refund or new date in writing.
